That varies and is dependent upon you and your business.
My existing employers consist of Food/Restaurants, Music Venues, Pet Sitting Businesses, Bands, Health Care/Nursing, and Auto Body Repair/Paint Specialty.
Each business has busy seasons and fluctuations.
Some of my employers average 20 assignments per month, while others average over 200 assignments each month.
My Monthly fee is extremely fair for the 20 assignments per month…. So of course you may ask “then why doesn’t your fee change when the assignments increase drastically?’
My philosophy is simple… keep your employer happy with the quality and cost of the work you provide and they will keep you employed for a long time.
I have been doing design work for 8 years (as of 2012) and I have never lost an employer.
My fees are insignificant in comparison to the quality of work I provide, the timeliness in which assignments are completed, and the ease in which it comes to working with me.
I LOVE this job; and when you love what you do, you never “work” a day in your life.
There are two payment options for my services:
The Flat-Rate Plan
and
The Pricing Scale Plan
The benefit to a Flat-Rate is that your accounts payable can budget the same amount each month without any surprises in the event of a busy month.
The benefit to a Pricing Scale Plan is that a less-busy month will not cost as much as a busy month.
