What is “Print Work” ?

Why do I need someone experienced to help me with these items?

You don’t!  Almost every 3rd party vendor that sells these items has created an interface that makes it easy for even beginners to place their own order.

As long as you have your “Bleed” correct, Your “Live View” is accurately placed, there is room for “Run” and “Fold”, and your “Critical Content” is placed correctly – you’ll be fine!

As funny as this sounds, this isn’t meant to intimidate you.  If you manage your own print work – you’ll figure it out – just the way I did – by diving in head-first into the deep end.

Here are the better questions to ask yourself…

Do you have a design you like?

Do you have time to learn all there is to know before this assignment is due?

If you can say “yes” to both – then I recommend doing it yourself – if not for anything else – for the experience and the knowledge you will possess moving forward regarding print work!

If you can’t say “yes” – or you simply don’t want to – I get it!  You have more important things to worry about – this print-work is just a piece of your overall plan.
